Sarah Hallam | Elena

Sarah Hallam is an established actor in Melbourne but holds Canadian, British and New Zealand citizenship; she believes this makes perfect marriage material! She graduated from the HFAS full-time course in 2012; was handpicked by Howard Fine to become his first Australian teacher of his technique. Sarah has worked consistently in film/television for over twenty years; highlights include “Hutch” in Wentworth Season 5, 6 & 7, Neighbours, Rush, City Homicide, Blue Heelers, Canal Road and Stingers. Sarah just shot the award wining film “The Funeral” which has won all the awards at the One Shot International Film Festival in Florida. On stage, Sarah has toured with Arena Theatre Company and recently performed in A Jubilee, Killer Joe, The Centenarian and The Truth is Longer Than a Lie. Sarah’s trained extensively with world renowned acting coaches Howard Fine, Kim Farrant, Ivana Chubbuck, Kim Krejus; trained in Alexander Technique with Penny McDonald & Jean-Louis Rodrigue, Voice with Stephen Costan and Singing and Speech for Actors with Vocal Expert David Coury.


Emma Choy | Mida

Career actor Emma Choy, has worked extensively in Australia and the UK on stage and in film and television. Her film and television highlights include Australian feature “Shame” (working title), directed by Scott Major, “Speed Dating” (Buena Vista Films), “The Vanguard” (Lionsgate), “The Shooting of Thomas Hurndall” (Talkback Thames), and for stage, the Green Room Award Winning sell out 2019 show “Mr Burns, a post electric play” and cult West End hit “Saucy Jack & the Space Vixens”. Her early training began after she won a scholarship to St Martin’s Youth Theatre, from there she went on to study Musical Theatre at WAAPA and is an ongoing student of Howard Fine. Emma has co-founded three theatre companies and was one of the Festival Directors for Melbourne’s Poppy Seed Theatre Festival.


Shaelyn Connor | Tyler

Shaelyn Connor is an award-nominated actress, who is experienced in film, television and theatre. She was nominated for ‘Best On-Screen Talent’ in the Reelgood Film Festival for her role as ‘Linda’ in ‘Peeps’. She has starred in a variety of short films: ‘An Ode To My Denim Jacket’ (dir. by Christa Hill), ‘Me, My Ralph & I’ (dir. by Maggie Brittingham), ‘Violet’ (dir. by Leah Currie), ‘Red Sauce’ (dir. by Sarah Petrasuinas), ‘Peeps’ (dir. By Sophie Somerville) which is a finalist in the Sydney Film Festival’s Dendy Awards. Shaelyn also starred in Dutch Monks ‘Colour Blind’ music video (dir. By Scott Marrinan). Earlier in her career, Shaelyn trained at the Young Australian Broadway Chorus and Patrick School of the Arts Academy and Professional Development program where she was equipped with skills in musical theatre and dance. Shaelyn currently studies at the Victorian College of the Arts where she trains in acting and performance under Goran Banyai.
